Modules

Ellutia has two types of Modules for differing requirements, including Control Modules and Software Extensions.

For more information about our Modules, contact us today.

Control Modules

Control Modules allow Ellution to control other manufacturers equipment.

Ellution Extensions

System Suitability Extension

The SST extension serves to monitor the correct function of the chromatography system.

The program compares up to 12 selected parameters (e.g. retention time, efficiency, asymmetry of peaks) calculated according to one of three pre-selected methods (USP, EP, JP).

These calculated values are either compared to the user’s set limit values for each chromatogram separately or together for the selected series. Deviation of any parameter from the permissible limits is immediately reported and may lead to the termination of the sequence in progress.

The SST Extension allows the user to monitor the parameters of individual substances and thus evaluate the reproducibility of the results of the entire chromatography system.

The SST extension is required when using the Validation Kit.

Gel Permeation / Size Exclusion Extension

Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) / Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) is the technique used for obtaining a rapid and reliable characterization of polymer molecular weight and molecular weight distribution.

GPC Extension provides interactive and automated GPC analysis, including recalibration and GPC reporting, as well as simplifies the retrieval of GPC data. The GPC Extension allows flow rate and multi-detector delay corrections and includes Narrow, Broad and Broad on Narrow calibrations.

The GPC Extension is optional add-on software for the Ellution Chromatography Station (starting from version 2.3) and Ellution Offline. The GPC mode is available to any Instrument within the software.

Photo Diode Array Extension

The Ellution PDA Extension is a tool that is used for processing data that has been acquired from selected photo diode array detectors. Spectral data, together with chromatograms, add a third dimension to analytical data analysis.

The Ellution PDA Extension expands the capability of Ellution Chromatography software by providing interactive spectral analysis, peak purity analysis and compound identification that is based on a spectral library search. PDA data can be displayed in a set of optional views including 3D rendering.

The PDA Extension is an optional Extension for the Ellution Chromatography Station (starting from version 2.4) and Ellution Offline Chromatography Station. The Ellution Chromatography Station is designed to acquire and evaluate data from up to four chromatographs at a time (multi-detector measurement support). Any Instrument within the Ellution station can use the PDA Extension.

All data is saved in a single file; a chromatogram at any wavelength or even only a spectrum can simply be recalled for review after an analysis. UV-VIS spectra, acquired using a PDA detector, may be interactively selected from a chromatogram signal for visual inspection and comparison. The spectra may also be used for peak purity determinations, wavelength optimization and component identification through spectral libraries.

Elemental Analysis Extension

EA Extension is a software module for Elemental Analysis. Determining the Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen, and Sulphur (CHNS-O) content of unknowns is one of the most basic and essential needs of any chemist. EA Extension provides a simplified version of the Clarity user interface that speeds up the workflow with elemental analyzers equipped by autosamplers. EA Extension is an optional addition to Clarity software, it cannot be used as a standalone program. Its user interface is optimized for maximum efficiency in repetitive tasks. Using features that are specific to EA Analysis, such as Standard Table, automatic weight input from analytical balance and other improvements, EA Extension provides an interactive and automated tool for determining the Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen, and Sulfur (CHNS-O) content of unknowns.

Capillary Electrophoresis Extension

The Ellution CE is an optional Extension for the Ellution Chromatography Station (from version 2.4.4). The Ellution Chromatography Station can acquire data from any Capillary Electrophoresis system with standard analog output. CE mode is selectable for any Ellution Instrument. CE Extension is compatible also with Ellution Offline software. CE module provides specific terminology, evaluation by time corrected area and peak identification by peak start or end (additionally to peak apex).

Natural Gas Analysis Extension

NGA Extension is a software module for Natural Gas and Liquefied Petroleum Gas Data Processing. You no longer need an external tool for gas properties calculations since Ellution contains the complete workflow of data acquisition, peak calibration, gas properties calculations based on supported norms and reporting. It is possible to perform summary calculations of gas properties from multiple signals and chromatograms.

Detailed Hydrocarbon Analysis Extension

DHA Extension is a software module for Detailed Hydrocarbon Analysis. It allows the determination of individual components in spark ignition engine. Ellution brings you the ability to calculate the properties of the samples directly in the data station with the complete workflow of data acquisition, peak calibration, DHA calculations based on supported norms and reporting. These methods are often referred to as PONA, PIONA, O-PONA, etc.

Mass Spectrometry Extension

The Ellution MS Extension is a tool that is used for processing data that has been acquired from selected MS detectors. Spectral data, together with chromatograms, add a third dimension to analytical data analysis.

The MS Extension expands the capability of Ellution Chromatography software by providing interactive spectral analysis, peak purity analysis and compound identification that is based on a spectral library search. The extension is prepared to function with single quadrupole MS detectors and TOF MS detectors.

The MS Extension is an optional extension for the Ellution and Ellution Offline Chromatography Stations version 5 and newer. The Ellution Chromatography Station is designed to acquire and evaluate data from up to four chromatographs at a time (multi-detector measurement support). Any Instrument within the Ellution station can use the MS Extension.

All data is saved in a single file; a chromatogram at any m/z value or even only a spectrum can simply be recalled for review after an analysis. MS spectra, acquired using a MS detector, may be interactively selected from a chromatogram signal for visual inspection and comparison. The spectra may also be used for peak purity determinations and component identification through spectral libraries.

GC x GC Extension

The GC×GC Extension is a tool developed for visualizing and processing two-dimensional chromatographic data.

It is an optional extension for the Ellution and Ellution Offline Chromatography Stations version 6.0 and newer. It expands the capability of Ellution Chromatography software by providing interactive analysis and compound identification in chromatograms measured on any gas chromatograph equipped by two columns and a modulator.

In a typical GCxGC system, the separation in the first column is based on boiling point, while separation in the second dimension is determined by the polarity of compounds. This will generate highly structured two-dimensional chromatograms.
