The 7000 GC Flowmeter requires annual recalibration to maintain its accuracy. Over time and through regular use, flow readings can drift. When that happens, your carrier gas flows are wrong and your results follow. Send your flowmeter to Ellutia and we will recalibrate it to UKAS standards. It comes back performing as it did on day one, with a fresh UKAS-traceable calibration certificate.

Why annual recalibration matters
Flow measurement accuracy is not static. Over time and through regular use, small changes in the instrument can cause readings to drift. For most GC applications this is gradual and not immediately obvious, which is exactly why a regular recalibration cycle matters. It catches drift before it affects your results.
Ellutia recalibrates the 7000 GC Flowmeter to the same UKAS-traceable 25-point calibration standard applied when the instrument leaves the factory. When it comes back to you, it performs as it did on day one, with a fresh UKAS-traceable calibration certificate.

Pack your flowmeter securely and ship it to Ellutia. We recommend using a tracked service.
Recalibrate and return
Once your flowmeter arrives, we carry out the full recalibration and get back to you with a quote. Your flowmeter is then returned with a new UKAS-traceable calibration certificate.

What does the recalibration service include?
A full 25-point recalibration to UKAS-traceable standards, carried out at Ellutia's facility in Ely, UK. A new calibration certificate is issued on completion.

How do I know when my flowmeter is due for recalibration?
Your calibration certificate shows the calibration date. Recalibration is due one year from that date. If you no longer have your certificate, contact info@ellutia.com with your serial number and we can check our records.

How long will I be without my flowmeter?
We will confirm the expected turnaround when we receive your details. We will keep you updated throughout the process.

Is return shipping included?
Return shipping within the UK is included in the service price. International customers are responsible for shipping in both directions. We will confirm return costs before dispatching your flowmeter.
